LE PORTRAIT
An address with a clear point of view.
Tucked away on Boulevard de Reuilly in the 12th arrondissement, L'Atelier 50 Design bears little resemblance to a typical consignment shop. The space reads more like a gallery than a flea market: pieces are carefully curated, thoughtfully displayed, and each piece of furniture carries genuine provenance. The inventory centres on vintage design furniture from the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s — lounge chairs, Knoll editions, Cassina, Ligne Roset, and signed pieces by Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier and Jean Prouvé.
Alongside the furniture sits a selection of pre-owned luxury clothing and shoes: Louis Vuitton, Céline, Christian Dior — all verified and expertly chosen. What sets the place apart is Monique: contact her directly via Instagram or phone before visiting, and she can scout new arrivals for you. Delivery is available throughout France, and the atelier also offers free appraisals of your own vintage pieces — useful if you have an Eames gathering dust in your attic.
« Monique et l'Atelier 50 Design m'a été recommandé par une amie. Excellente expérience client. j'ai acheté une chaise longue LC4 signée en excellent état à un prix très raisonnable. Monique est très réactive et attachée à sourcer de beaux produits. Pour tout cela merci. »
