LE PORTRAIT
An address with a clear point of view.
Red Cross France's solidarity boutique, located at 40 rue Albert Thomas in the 10th arrondissement, belongs to that category of secondhand addresses where shopping carries meaning beyond the garment itself. The shop stocks primarily women's and men's clothing on a donation-consignment basis, alongside accessories, tableware, and a selection of decorative objects worth lingering over. The notable feature: a dedicated "premium" section groups together curated branded pieces separately—practical if you're after something specific without sifting through the entire rail.
There are no fitting rooms on-site, so it's wise to wear layered clothing on the day of your visit. The stock spans multiple decades without a declared specialty, making it an ideal address for generalist hunters rather than discerning collectors. The atmosphere varies depending on which volunteers are present, though the solidarity mission remains constant.
