Stop 3 — Tragic Vintage Store (20 min)

Five minutes north-west, 15 rue de Turbigo. Same house as stop 1, different character: calmer, more room to move, and clear entry prices — pieces start at €10. This is where tight budgets score best on the whole route. The two ALATONE shops complement rather than duplicate each other: don't choose, do both.

End of the short route — about 1 h 20 in shops and 15 minutes of walking. The next two stops extend south, to the edge of the Marais.

Extension — Cheap Frip Vintage (20 min)

An eight-minute walk to 37 rue du Temple. The name misleads: no €3 bins here, but curated, brand-led vintage — leather, blazers, Versace Jeans Couture — from €20. The best menswear rack of the route, and a consistency that justifies the bracket. You come here to not get it wrong, not for treasure hunting.

Extension — Kilo Shop Marais Bis (20 min)

Five minutes down, 67 rue de la Verrerie. Finish by weight: the area's kilo outpost, where strategy matters — go for dense pieces, shirts and light jackets rather than coats. It is the most unpredictable stop of the walk, and that is the point. You leave either empty-handed or with the story of the day.
